Get Vendio Gallery - Now FREE! 1914 FORD MODEL T 1914 Model T original Station wagon body made by the Springfield Commercial Body Company of Massachusetts, This nice Ford T was professionally restored in 1977 by Asher Chambers in Caribou Main. There is a nice article in a local news paper published in May 16, 1976 that show all about the restoration of this great car. Please check the pictures that show this articIe. The car starts and runs very good, I used in many parades and shows and won several trophies in local shows. Is a hand cranked engine. The magneto, coils and timer works perfect. The engine has an exterior oil pump and a filter that was installed by Mr. Chambers, it was a great idea because it keep the three main bearings well lubricated and also keep the oil super clean; the engine has the original lubrication system installed. I installed a after market water pump to keep the engine cool on parades. The original radiator was made in Canada by Ford it has round tubes it just leaks a litlebid in one tube when the engine is hot. I installed a new transmission bands made of Kevlar material I add electric bulbs on the lamps that works great at night shows (Christmas parades) The brass electric horn is made by Klaxet and the air horn is made by Rube. The rare clock was made by Stephenson. The paint are good but not perfect it has scratches and dings but not rust this car was painted 30 years ago. I always keep this car inside the garage.
