1965 Triumph TR6SR TR6SR-DU19480 Matching numbers 333 miles Being an online boot store, we have the opportunity to allow payments from Visa, Mastercard, Discover, and PayPal. Call or email for details. WE SELL WORLDWIDE We regularly ship to Australia and we arrange all scheduling. Inquire details. Many shops restore vintage machines. We decided to go the extra mile, and build a high performance restoration. The TR6SR was the American version of the British TR6 Trophy. The SR was officially called the Highway Trophy. Only 922 1965 TR6SR models were shipped to the US. It's interesting to note that fork travel was increased one inch for 1965. WHEEL-TO-WHEEL FRAME-OFF RESTORATION WITH THAT EXTRA SOMETHING SPECIAL TRULY ONE-OF-A-KIND MORGO HIGH PERFORMANCE 750cc BIG BORE KIT ENGINE Complete engine overhaul. Black Diamond valves. Precision Engineering guides. Hi-performance valve springs. PERFORMANCE HEAD WORK Polished ports. Mirrored rocker box oil channels. Lightened and polished rockers, lightened 1.1 ounce each. Alloy push rods, allen-head valve adjusters. Webco oil cooler. Webco inline oil filter Morgo High Performance Rotary Oil pump (60% more oil flow, even if oil is contaminated) Complete rebuild of bottom end new main crankshaft bearings and new rod big end shells Crankcase Breather Modification, with Positive Crankcase Ventilation Valve. Belt-drive Primary (less vibration, more horsepower, and longer engine longevity) The belt runs dry, thus eliminating the common ‘leaky primary’. UPGRADES Hi-output alternator, with solid-state regulator/rectifier. Boyer Electronic Ignition. New clutch plates aided by Barnett heavy-duty clutch springs. POWER Gearing is much taller than stock (21/46). A great improvement over standard power and gearing. The bike cruises effortlessly at highway speeds, with substantially less vibration than a stock 650. Power reaches the rear wheel via top quality RK drive chain. CHASSIS The front fork internals have been overhauled, and the fork tubes were replaced. Updated the steering stem bearings to roller bearings. All wheel bearings are new. Both brakes have been serviced. DETAILS Genuine LUCAS Headlight/Lens. Functional oil pressure warning light. Nearly every nut and bolt has been upgraded to polished stainless steel. Professionally painted in the original, factory-correct color scheme and pattern. Pin-striping done by hand, the old-fashioned way. The finished product is clear-coated with several coats of clear urethane, which is tough and fuel resistant. The frame is painted with Pittsburgh Paint's DDC acrylic urethane epoxy paint, which is the hardest paint on the market. The rims are original Dunlop, rechromed and relaced with stainless steel spokes. Tires are new Dunlop Gold Seal K70, as was OEM. Inner tubes are new. THE BIKE After breaking in the engine, the valves have been re-adjusted, and the head bolts have been re-torqued. This bike is in excellent shape, and has proven to be very reliable. There are only several hundred miles on the overhaul. With the Boyer ignition, the bike starts very easily. Beautiful, fast, great handling, and rare. Who could ask for a more unique classic bike?
