Here is a Time Warp find 1959 Austin Healey Bug Eye Sprite.The story goes the car belonged to a Female Student at the University of Georgia in 1978.The owners father repainted and reupolstered in Purple with White vinyl seats.When the original 948 motor started a low end knock the car was put in storage in a Basement here in Cobb County.There it remained untill recently where we obtained it.We got the motor to run and yes it has a lower end rattle,typical of a little motor pushed a bit too hard.We rebuilt the Master Cyl.and Clutch Slave and was able to crawl around my yard but no Brakes.The Spedometer indicates 31807 miles and that may be actual based on the originality and completeness.Original Tach drive Generator,Correct 948 motor with Smooth case gear box.Correct Guages and Steering wheel.We found the correct Jack,tool bag with tools,spare wheel and side curtains.It Still has the original red rubber floor mats and all original interior trim.This was a Red/Red car as we found the original red seats under the white covers As seen in photos it has a 1978 Clarke County,Athens Ga.Licence plate and 1978 Ga. Inspection sticker.Solid and Straight body with yes some floor rust in both footwells but always a southern car.The Purple Paint is starting to flake off as seen by the brown primer underneath.We are also including a complete running{when removed} 1100 Sprite motor another 948 block with new 20"over Hepolite Pistons and a large group of motor parts and a additional smooth case Gear box.I have a Current Georgia Regestration in my name.Please see all my photos and ask any questions that you may have.I have additional photos if needed.Please understand this is a Restoration Project and you cant drive it home but a True Original survivor.Shipping the responsibility of the purchacer but we can assist in International Shipment.Sold in AS IS Condition so please Email for details,no cry babies please and good luck bidding.
