This auction is for a very clean 1978 Suzuki GS1000C in Excellent Original Condition. Odometer reads 9143 miles. Bike was stored in a Sacramento, CA garage for years. I've rebuilt the entire brake system, overhauled the carbs, rebuilt the original petcock, replaced burned out bulbs, replaced the headlight housing (it was cracked), replaced the seat cover with an exact reproduction of the original ( hard to find, had one made in the UK), replaced the 630 o-ring chain and rear sprocket, replaced the spark plugs, reset the points, lubed and adjusted the cables, replaced the air cleaner, installed a new battery, changed the oil and filter, and basically cleaned and adjusted everything on the bike to make it work like new. Original tool kit is located in the tail section. There are no oil or fuel leaks. Speedometer, odometer, and gas gauge works. Tank is like new inside, no visible rust, there is one small dent on the left side of the tank just in front of the Suzuki emblem, it's not easy to see, no paint damage. Original mufflers are in great shape, bike runs very quiet. NADA prices for this bike are $4750 excellent, $2800 very good.
