It was built and assembled using a combination of mostly genuine Jaguar parts and hand selected upgrades for the perfect driver's car. On the downside, the fiberglass body has never been perfectly straightened, however, as seen in the photos, it is quite straight. This car is not in show car condition by any means, however, it is a perfect driver's car meant to be driven. If you love the look and smell of older cars, but don't want to drive your $70,000 to $100,000 car, then this car is the perfect car for you. It has it all, smell, look and feel of an older car. Fiberglass body is gel coated to last, and sits atop a steel frame also by American Eagle. Drive train is composed of a Jaguar 6cyl double overhead camshaft with three hd8 carbs and approximately 300 hp with a turbo 400 automatic transmission. The rear end is from the legendary XKE-irs with a 3.85 to 1 gear ratio. For the front suspension, the non-jaguar parts are the front crossover and carrier that were chosen for their strength. Additionally, the front is fitted with a pair of chrome adjustable shocks and a stainless steel stabilizer bar to control sway at speed and of course the steering system is a quick Jaguar power assisted rack & pinion steering. The XK-120 radiator was rebuilt using an all aluminum core with two mounted electric fans. In the rear there is a 12-gallon fuel tank and an electric fuel pump. In the cockpit, there are two comfortable re-constructed XJS seats, a set of E-type gauges, a 160 mph speedometer and tachometer, aftermarket oil pressure, water temp with a genuine Jaguar clock. There is also a radio with 12 CD changer mounted in the trunk. The highlight of the interior is the custom Moto Lito steering wheel. Exterior is fitted with all period pieces including an original XK-120 grill, two Fog Ranger driving lights, aluminum bumpers front and rear, and a custom exhaust system with the pipes exiting the car in front of the left rear tire for that big cat like sound. For those inclement days there is a soft top complete with frame, and additionally may come with a tonneau cover that is currently being stitched. Currently registered and licensed under the state of Pennsylvania rules as Special Construction (SP). This car is light cream in color and fast.
