I have for sale a 1968 Galaxie 500 Convertible. Its a 302 engine with a 3 speed automatic trans and a 9" rearend. It has power front disc brakes and drums on the rear. The brakes work good. It has factory A/C thats not working. It has power steering. The motor runs good and has between 120-150 PSI on all cylinders. The only leak is a very small rear main seal leak. The car does run and drive. It clunks when you put it in gear. I think its a broken motor mount or trans mount. The exhaust is good. The top is in good shape and is power. It goes up and down like new. The car has 4 new tires, a new throttle cable, new plugs, points, cap & rotor. The gas tank is not in the car. I am running it on a gas can under the hood. I have the tank straps and filler neck but no tank.The rust on the car is in the lower rear quarters. Im not sure exactly how much because when i got the car someone had put Bondo on them. From looking inside the trunk i dont see many holes. I would say it will need at least a drivers side lower skin. The passenger side looks like its decent and fixable. The rear floor on the passenger side has been patched. The rest of the floors look OK from underneath as far as i can see but i have not had this on a lift. The trunk floor and everything else looks good. It has some dents in the trunk lid and general dents here and there. I have the hood trim, rocker trim, trunk trim and some other Misc parts that go with the car. Overall its a very clean solid car. Buyer is responsible for shipping. Delivery is possible in the west for a fee. This will drive on the transporter and i will help them load. Clear title in hand. The car is located in Boulder City Nevada 89005.
