Vehicle Detail
DESCRIPTION: Available here is a very collectible 1975 Honda CB400F - the original year and most desired. These bikes are alot of fun to ride. Engine number is CB400FE-1030224 and frame is CB400F-1030096. This is one of the bikes from our personal collection. It is on display in our environmentally controlled show room. This is a great running motorcycle that shifts fine through all the gears. All of the lights and horn work. It has a new battery in it, a Yuasa, not some cheap piece of junk. Both tires appear to be in good condition, but we don't know the age of them. There are a few nicks and scratches here and there and a few light dings in the tank (it is a 36 year old motorcycle that has been ridden.) It has some rust pitting on the fenders but most of the other chrome is pretty decent. The right mirror mount is broken, but the switch assembly is good. There are also a few fins broken on the right front of the engine. We are guessing the bike got tipped over at one time or another before we bought it. Please check out the pictures and ask questions. SHIPPING AND HANDLING: The buyer is responsible for all shipping arrangements, including quotes. We will assist the shipper at time of pick-up. The zipcode to use for pick up is 48472. We can deliver it to Mid-Ohio Vintage Days for $200. PAYMENT DETAILS: Cash only upon time of pickup or certified bank check. Checks must clear OUR bank prior to releasing the motorcycle. We thank you for looking at our auction. Good luck! This motorcycle is being sold as is without warranty. On Jun-29-11 at 18:28:49 PDT, seller added the following information:A note to add: The front brake caliper will need some attention. This bike has been sitting and the caliper piston is sticking a little. This is not out of the ordinary for a bike that is not run on a regular basis, and is 35-plus years old. Thanks
