1969 Volkswagen Type 3 Fastback, Fully automatic and carburated motor. The car originally came out of Georiga and has been stored inside for almost 20 years. The good- The floor is very solid except under the battery area which was previously fixed. Both rockers are solid with the exception of some small areas of surface rust. The hood, trunk, and all four quarters/fenders. The passanger fendor and quarter do have dents. The driver side is in excellent shape. When the car was stored, the motor and tranny were operating correctly. It also has pop-out rear windows, good backup lights, and the spare tire well is very solid. This really is a nice restorable southern car. The Bad- The rear window seal leaked prior to being stored and the flat metal around the engine area is rusted. It will need to be replaced.
