He is a retired gentleman who traded this and another vehicle to buy a new Silverado Dually to tow his new camping trailer. He had bought this truck a couple years ago from ouot in California and brought it to his winter home in Florida. It was taking up room and he said he did not use it as much as he thought he would, so it got traded. Because of this Dodge trucks California origin it is rust through free. I did take one picture of the top of the passenger front fender where there are a couple blisters, but that is the only place on the whole truck. Being from here in upstate Pennsyvania we don't get to see anything like this. What a great truck for a Dodge enthusiast to restore. An even better father son project. You won't have to waste any time on rust/rot issues in the floors or fenders. We took a bunch of pictures to display how solid this truck is. I have personally done two frame off restorations so I know what to look for, and this truck will save you lots of messing around. The truck does look to have been painted somewhere along in its life. The paint is okay for a driver quality vehicle. The previous owner had told me that the 440 V8, Automatic, and air conditioning options were quite rare in the 1977 model year. that and the Extended cab body will make it a one of a kind at the car shows. The air does work, truck runs and shifts great. Tires are pretty new and the exhaust system was custom installed and sounds great. I just wish this was a Chevy and I'd be keeping it for myself!!
