Vehicle Detail
1966 PLYMOUTH BELVEDERE II MUSCLE MOPAR SATELLITE GTX 1966 Plymouth Belvedere II VIN# RH23E67149226 Condition: Car is nice overall condition. Starts, Stops, Runs and Drives as it should with no issues. The car was restored in 2003-2004, but still shows well. Not a show quality paint job, but looks great and shines very well. Paint shows some imperfections from age. But it still looks nice. It has a few small bubbles, some orange peel and the hood has a few small dents, but I am probably being very nit-picky. I am sure that it would look even better with a professional wet sand and buff. The car is very solid. No rust of any kind. RUNS PERFECT. Very Strong throughout the RPM range. It goes down the street straight and I would not hesitate to drive it anywhere. It has a few small creaks and rattles as to be expected with a 45 year old car. Originally a Southern Car (Previously Titled In Louisiana). It has been kept in climate controlled storage since the restoration. Dark Orange 2 door hardtop Black bucket seats Underbody and trunk look great for being 45 years old Originally a 318 car, it now has a Professionally built 440 CID Motor - Casting number 253643010 727 Torque-Flight Heavy Duty Automatic Transmission w/ New Stall Convertor 8 3/4 POSI-TRACTION Rear End The car was fully restored in 2004 The car has only been driven a few thousand miles since I have over $7,000 in parts receipts that go with the car. These do NOT include any mechanical labor, paint or parts bought over the years at swap meets. This is in no way a complete receipt trail, but shows some of what was done. Some items replaced during or since the restoration: New Bumpers (from Bumper Boyz) New Door Panels Seats re-upholstered (New Reproduction Covers from Legendary Auto Interiors) New Tires New Tie Rods New Master Cylinder The engine was fully professionally rebuilt with a fresh valve job, hardened valve seats, new valve guides, new Mopar performace push rods, new Mopar Performance "Purple" camshaft/lifters, Rocker Arms, Oil Pump, Protorque Starter, Polished Crank, Etc... This car would make a great driver or would make an awesome GTX or Super Stock Clone. This is the same body style that Sox & Martin and a lot of the big names raced in the late 1960s. Most of them (even Sox and Martin) ran a Belvedere II with GTX tags...... The only issue that the car has is some occasional electrical bugs in the dash. The temp gauge, fan/blower motor switch, headlight switch, turn signal camshaft, wiper switch and a few other things have been replaced and everything seems to work, but sometimes when multiple items are on, the turn signal indicators on the dash light solid (even though they still work correctly). If I have a chance to look into it before the auction ends, I will. But I would count on having to have it looked at if it bothers you.... The Belvedere currently shows 42,328 miles on the odometer, I can not tell you if it is original, as I am not the original owner of the car, but I would assume it is 142 ... EXTREMELY LOW RESERVE !
