We are not the original owners of the bike, so we can only describe what we see. This bike was found in the garage of the estate home. It was on a charger, covered up nicely, just the way the previous owner left it. We loaded it up, brought it here, checked it out, and now offer it for sale here. The bike looks excellent. It does appear to have a lot of miles, but it's certainly been well cared-for... in fact, we found repair and maintenance receipts which are included. The glass lens on the speedometer is cloudy to the point where we cannot read the mileage on the odometer. As the video shows, the bike starts right up and seems to run well. I do not ride, but a couple of my employees have taken it around our place and they say it rides great. We can find no problems or issues to warn you about. Please review the video for more details... but this seems like a real good bike. ABOUT THE PAPERWORK: As you know, the previous owner has passed away... and we could not find the title for this bike in the home. We've completed the proper "Duplicate Title" paperwork for the bike. This paperwork is signed by the administrator of the estate. So, the paperwork you'll receive transfers title from the estate to us, and I'll write a bill of sale from us to you. On May-26-11 at 08:26:07 PDT, seller added the following information:Regarding the mileage on the bike: There have been several questions about the mileage on the bike's odometer reading. As explained in the listing, the lens is not clear and the mileage cannot be read. I have had suggestions to break the glass, take the assembly apart, etc. Of course, if I knew it was going to matter so much to folks, I would have disassembled it to get the reading... but I didn't. Now the auction ends tomorrow, so I don't want to start tearing things apart now... and I am not a mechanical type. HOWEVER, I did go through the paperwork today and found three cards documenting the bike's history. The mileage, date, repair description and sometimes a cost are listed neatly in chronological order. The most recent entry on the cards is "60545 Changed fork oil 140CC clean oil per leg 11/3/09". There are no more entries after that. I believe it to be a logical conclusion that the odometer reading would be something around that figure shown on these records. Thanks for your patience, guys.
