Vehicle Detail
For auction is my: 1970 CB100 K-0 Super Sport custom Cafe Racer style motorcycle. Clear title and very low 1702 original miles, with original rolling frame, front end, engine, carb, exhaust, wheels, and original working speedometer. Clear title in my name, although title shows 1971 this is a 1970 model. Back then some Honda's were titled by first retail sale date, rather than the actual model year. Mileage may end up going just a little higher than pictured, but not much, as I would love to get in a few more short rides on this bike before the listings end. It's alot of fun & gets tons of looks anywhere you go. The motor has not been opened up for any repairs, but has been nicely painted up top with black high-temp satin paint just to give it a bit more of a racer style look. The bottom of the engine is clean and still in the factory original paint, with just a small bit of boot wear in the finish of the right side motor cover. This is one sweet little rider that's been done right, and is in very nice condition. It starts easy runs and rides very well, and is a total blast to ride! It has alot of brand new custom cafe parts on it including the seat, lights, headlight mounts, clubman handle bars, levers, grips, twist throttle, light/horn switch assembly, and a brand new 6 volt gel battery nicely mounted under the seat. It also has a brand new set of Michelin tires with an aggressive looking flat tracker style street tread on them, also new tubes. New K&N hi flow air filter, new fork seals & fork oil, also new rubber fork covers have replaced the stock CB steel fork covers. It has new engine oil & spark plug, and a new RK gold drive chain. Nice original black frame paint for being 41 years old, and it has only been touched up or blended in where side cover tabs and the rear foot peg mounts have been removed. The tank is a later model, about a 1974 or 1975 that already had a very nice dark racing-green older paint job put on it. There are a very few tiny chips on it, with a small touch-up, on a chip up front just behind the steering neck, but it's not very noticeable. It's still a very nice tank and the bike looks great overall. Nice chrome on the wheels, with just one small blackened spot on the front rim. It's about the size of a dime, and not too bad. I posted a close up of it so you can see it, and be aware, even though it's small. It starts easy and runs & rides fine. Honda's generally tend to be cold blooded, and need a fair warm up time, but run great and the reliability can't be beat. You will not be dissapointed at all with this little bike, and it will be a great addition to any vintage collection. This little bike is tons of fun to ride! It would be excellent for short transportation to work, getting around the city(it's small and very manuverable), or just a Sunday ride on a nice little vintage racer style bike. I'd love to keep it myself, but you can't keep 'em all! PICK UP & TRANSPORT Info: Local pick-up can be made in Northwest PA, about 1 hour north of Pittsburgh,PA, or an hour south of Erie,PA.
