You are bidding on a 1983 Honda GL-650 Interstate. I bought it from the original owner last week. He was getting divorced and was forced to sell it. Nice clean original GL650 Interstate. Has 24,621 miles. Bike was last on the road two years ago. I drove it around the block and everything works well. It was only running on full choke. The carbs will need to be cleaned before you are able to ride it. If you are familiar with these engines, the two carbs are easy to get to and most times you can clean them without removing them from the bike. The bike is all original except for the backrest. It is a water-cooled, shaft drive 5-speed. Bike will pass inspection, all of the lights work, brakes were done two years ago. It was always serviced by a Honda dealer. I have the original tool kit, saddlebag covers, owners manual, and also comes with the rear seat grab rail and cowling. Tires are excellent. Bike was never in an accident. Choke and throttle work fine. I have the keys for all of the bags and compartments. It does have some normal pitting on the engine cases which was very common with the GL500's and GL650's. These engines are pretty bulletproof - I have seen them go over 100,000 miles. Beautiful bike, gets a lot of looks. Looks like a mini Goldwing. Very comfortable with two riders. It is also a great beginner or advanced rider bike. You can buy a carb rebuild kit for about $60. That is all it needs, just the carbs to be cleaned or you might even get away with putting some fresh gas in it and running it. Original exhaust is in great shape. Great GL-50 for spring. No Reserve!
