You are bidding on a 1981 Suzuki GS550T. I bought the bike yesterday from the original owner who was moving out of state. He has owned it for the past 30 years. It has always been stored inside. The only thing it will need to run is to have the carburetors cleaned. Bike is all original and near mint. All of the lights, brakes works. Shifts fine. Throttle and choke work fine. Chrome is excellent. Paint still shines like new. Inside of the tank is clean, not a bit of rust. Tires are excellent. Seat has no rips. Still has the tool kit under the seat. Great bike for the beginner or the advanced rider. GS550's are relatively easy to work on and fairly quick. I have seen these bikes with drag bars and they look pretty sharp. There is some normal light pitting on the engine and front forks. It will be hard to find one this clean. Has a clear Massachusetts title. Bike was never in an accident. Has 17,631 miles. It was always serviced by a local Suzuki dealer. It has been stored and not used for the past four years. It is an inline-four, air cooled six speed. Just clean the carbs and you are good to go.
