1985 Mercedes in exceptional original condition. Documentation includes original metal owners warranty plate showing delivery April 1985 at local Mercedes dealer. Purchased in name of local oil company which owned a chain of gas stations, transferred from corporate ownership in 2006 to company officer upon his retirement. Purchased by us a couple of months ago. This is the last year of the legendary 5 cylinder 300SD. Finished in Light Ivory code 623 with Palomino leather interior. Options include electric sunroof, power seats with memory, OEM Mercedes plush floor mats, updated radio receiver with CD player and ABS brakes. Upon receipt of vehicle it went through the shop with a full E-service including valve adjustment with new gasket. oil and fuel filters, New OEM wiper blade set, 4 new tires mounted and balanced, new battery, air filter mounts and overflow hoses and various other similar items. All mechanical systems received any repair or adjustment needed. Just to restate-everything works as it should all power windows, power sunroof, cruise control, power seats with memory, climate control system, power antenna and all interior and exterior lights. Car drives like it should have 20 years ago this is not a tired old POS like most of them. You won't find a nicer running example at 40 50 60 70 MPH. Cosmetically it retains ALL ORIGINAL PAINT- yes that means no accidents ever. Of course minor brush touchup and scratches and small dings are evident. Underneath the chassis is rustfree. Interior has a few problems, front seats each have a split in the leather thus the 1" thick Australian sheepskins by Hurrs, right corner of rear seat has a tear, wood veener on dash is unglued on a few edges, lower center console wood has finish cracks and top of rear seat has loose stitching. Fly in and drive home- no surprises here, check our feedback if there were any problems we wouldn't offer it here.
