You are bidding on a 1994 porsche 968 convertible with 6spd manual transmission, fully loaded with power top, power windows, cruise control, dual airbags, power seats, 17" wheels and ect. First the history of the car and where it came from. I purchased the car from Progressive Casualty Ins with a salvage title. The car had damage to the undercarriage. The radiator was pushed up from underneath, front mount oil cooler was damaged, and the sway bar was bent. No frame damage. The body itself had no damage what so ever. The paint is still original which indicates no panels were replaced. The car is now repaired with all original parts (radiator, condensor, sway bar and oil cooler) I included some photos of the car before the repair. The last 3 photos are how I got it from the insurance company. The original paint was just buffed and looks brand new. The car has couple of small dings but otherwise it is straight. The canvas top has a quarter size patch which I'm assuming is over a hole. Otherwise in good condition with good weatherstripping. Please see pic. The tops electrical works perfect. It goes up and down smoothly everytime. The interior is in good condition. The driver's side seat's bolster is torn. The passenger side is in great condition. The dash is in excellent condition with no cracks. The carpets are clean with nice floor mats. The motor runs excellent and the transmission shifts smoothly. The timing belt has just been serviced with new balance shaft belt and water pump. The brakes are good, tires are in good condition. All electrical works, including pop up headlights, gauges, clock, A/C, heating and ect. I'm a porsche certified mechanic and will give 3 months warranty to local buyers. I don't think you can find a 968 in this condition for this price. I have too many cars and a wife that wants them out. The tape player in the car does not work. For the buy it now price I will install a CD player to go with the car. Buyer pays $500 non-refundable deposit at the end of the auction.
