Vehicle Detail
Normal 0 false false false EN-US X-NONE X-NONE This NO RESERVE AUCTION (HIGHEST BIDDER WINS!) is for one 1963 Jaguar Mark II. It came from back East (Massachusetts). The last registration sticker on the front window says 1998. It looks to me like someone purchased the car from the East Coast and had it shipped out here to San Diego. Someone started stripping the paint and realized it was too much of a project (rust issues) for them and that’s when I got it. It has a running ’60s vintage small block Chevy in it (nice installation, looks like someone knew what they were doing), but it is tired (smokes). It has what I believe to be the original gear box in it. The brakes work, so it is a running, driving car, but I wouldn’t call it road worthy. It does not have a muffler and will need a battery and I wouldn’t go far until you check the whole car out. It has a lot of rust (as shown in the pictures), rust in the floors, doors, sill plates, trunk lid, hood, etc. The interior needs to be redone. One side of the rear bumper bracket is broken, so the bumper hangs down. I will strap it up for shipping purposes. All the glass is good. The tag in the motor compartment reads: Body # S024716 Engine # LC 7114-9 Car # 222930 DN Gearbox # GBN 73389 JS From the paperwork I do have, it looks like the car was sold to a dealership in New York and they sold it to someone in San Diego for $4,750 in March of this year. I do not have a title for the car. The state of New York does not require a title with a car this age and the owner in San Diego never applied for a title for it. I can get a title in your name for $250. I am not very familiar with Jaguars, so if you need more information on the car, please email or call me with all your questions before you bid. **CHECK OUT THE 1965 JAGUAR 3.8 S AND 1967 MGB GT THAT I HAVE UP FOR AUCTION THIS WEEK! NO RESERVE ON THOSE EITHER! ** Remember, highest bidder wins – NO RESERVE!! If you’d like a walk around description over the phone or would like to come look at the car, you can call me, Mike, at (760) 723-4686 or (760) 519-3478. I can deliver the car to the shipper in Long Beach for $250. THIS IS A TRUE NO RESERVE AUCTION. NO BUY IT NOW PRICE. I WILL NOT END THE AUCTION EARLY. HAPPY BIDDING AND HAPPY HOLIDAYS! THANKS. This vehicle is being sold as is with no implied warranty. Payment is to be paid in full within 7 business days of the end of the auction and pickup within 14 days unless other arrangements are agreed upon.
