Vehicle Detail
Here is a 1999 Ford XLT F-350 4x4 Dually Supercab with a 7.3 Liter Powerstroke and a 6 speed transmission. This truck has been well maintained and is in good working condition. This truck has A/C, power windows, cloth interior, cruise control, 4 wheel drive and more. It also has a gooseneck ball, brake controller and a receiver for towing. We sell enclosed cargo trailers, car trailers and Race trailers at www.milehightrailers.com and we used this truck to haul empty trailers from Elkhart, IN to Denver, CO, so this truck has mostly highway miles on it. We have now outsourced our hauling and don't need the truck anymore. The truck has a clear title and will come with a 60 day temp tag. We don’t charge any add on fees, so what you bid is what you pay. If you are an in state buyer, we will collect the 2.9 percent state tax. Out of state buyers will pay taxes in their home state. This truck also has a vegetable oil WVO conversion kit installed. This doesn’t mean that you have to use vegetable oil, it just means that you can if you want to. It’s a 2 tank system which means that you can switch back and forth between the vegetable oil tank and the diesel tank. If you like the truck and don't want the conversion kit, just let me know and I will remove it for you. It only takes about an hour. More info on the kit - There are coolant lines that run from the engine compartment to the vegetable oil tank. The coolant circulates through the tank in steel tubing which heats up the vegetable oil to the operating temperature of the truck (180 degrees). Once the oil is hot, you can switch the valves and start running on vegetable oil. The truck has two valves. One of the valves switches the supply side and the other valve switches the return. It’s a very simple system to operate. The system does not interfere with the normal operating system of the truck. Here is a record of the major maintenance items that have been done on the truck. Minor stuff like oil changes and air filters have also been done at regular intervals. 150000 Rebuilt Engine 160000 Rebuilt Rear End 180000 Rebuilt Transmission and New Clutch 215000 Suspension and Steering Kit – Ball Joints, Inner and Outer tie rod ends Alignment 220000 New Injectors, Glow Plugs 230000 Replace Rear Main Seal – We replaced the clutch at the same time since the transmission was out. 235000 Replace 2 u-Joints I will also include a full tank of clean vegetable oil for the winning bidder (100 gallons) $300 value. Thank you for looking and feel free to email or call with any questions.
