1966 FORD FAIRLANE GT CONVT. 66 FAIRLANE GT CONVT, ORIGINAL S CODE 390 CAR. FACTORY RED ON RED WITH WHITE TOP. I BOUGHT THIS CAR SEVERAL YEARS AGO FROM THE SECOND OWNER WHO HAD IT FOR MANY YEARS. CAR RUNS AND DRIVES GREAT. I WAS TOLD THE ENGINE, TRANS, WAS ORIGINAL TO THE CAR. WHEN I BOUGHT IT. ENGINE RUNS GOOD, LOTS OF POWER, TRANS SHIFTS PERFECT. SINCE I HAVE HAD THE CAR, I HAVE DONE THE FOLLOWING TO IT. HAD BUMPERS RECHROMED, NEW CONVT TOP, NEW CARB, (STILL HAVE ORIG ONE), NEW BRAKES AND WHEEL CYLINDERS, NEW EXHAUST, NEW DASH PAD, NEW CARPET, FRONT AND REAR SEAT COVERS, NEW BATTERY, NEW TIRES, NEW DOOR HANDLES, CAR IS VERY ORIGINAL, HAS HAD ONE REPAINT SEVERAL YEARS AGO BUT STILL VERY PRESENTABLE. CAR HAS ITS ORIGINAL QTRS, DOORS, AND FENDERS. TRUNK IS NICE AND VERY SOLID, FLOOR PANS LOOK GOOD, VERY SOLID ORIG CAR. THERE ARE A FEW VERY SMALL BLISTERS AT BOTTOM OF QTR AND CORNER OF DOOR. I TOOK PICS OF THEM. THIS IS A REAL GT, S CODE CONVT, AND AN ORIGINAL RED CAR. YOU CAN DRIVE THIS CAR HOME.
