1978 VW Volkswagon / Westfalia Camper Van Bus - Project or Parts For sale is this hard-to-find 1978 VW / Westfalia AG Camper Van ideal for parts or for a project vehicle. THIS IS A NON-RUNNING VEHICLE. The serial number is 2382037942. The paint is terrible - as if someone has painted it with a brush . . . badly! The engine turns but does not fire up and run. There is a few dents and a little bit of rust/cancer, but otherwise it is all original equipment. The pop-up frame works, but the vinyl/canvas is missing. The transmission is a manual. I will try to answer all questions as soon as I can, but PLEASE NOTE - I am selling this Kraus Kamper for a friend who purchased it in its current condition as a restoration project about two years ago, and very little has been done to it. Moving now requires that the vehicle be sold. It is unknown how long it sat up before then. I do not know if there are any leaks since it is a non-running vehicle.
