First a little about who you are purchasing from, my wife and I are moderators for North American Goldwings and we buy, sell and trade Goldwings as well as related parts and cycle gear. This bike is known to us as one of our friends from North American Goldwings has been restoring this bike for a pretty good while now. The bike has been gone through and thoroughly reconditioned from the brakes, pulleys and belts to the wiring and steering head bearings. It has ALL had hands laid on it and has been tested and tried by him and us. The only things that have not been reconditioned on this bike are the heads and the clutch and they did not need ANY attention as they are at 100% already and at factory specs. This bike runs, rides and feels like a new one as it should since most of the parts ARE new on it. The saddle bags and trunk have fresh paint and most all chrome is good. The tank and front fender could use a touch up on paint as there are a few scratches here or there as discussed in the video posted for this bike and there is a small chip of plastic missing at the edge of the trunk. With the lid closed you do not notice it. The rear saddle bag and trunk gaurds could use to be chromed or powder coated if you wish to make this bike 100% restored. The bike is showing 104,000 miles but since almost everythng is new ( from belts and pullys down to swing arm and steering head) it is hard to say it actually has that many miles on it, as stated almost EVERYTHING has beed disassembled and reconditioned but since the clutch, heads and pistons with rings were not touched ( they did not need it as they are all in factory spec ) we cannot list the bike as "rebuilt" although it really should be shown that way. My wife and are are HEALTHY people and for 4 days along with our trailer and 300 LBS in gear the bike pulled us up into the Ozark Mountains all the way through Eureka Springs and back around through Mt. Magazine, the tallest point in Arkansas with no trouble and even got good gas milage doing it!!! This bike has.... If you have ever wanted a nice wing we hope you do not let this one go by. It is an outstanding bike. Like all machines of this age there are a few scratches here and there from using the bike, we have done our best to detail anything we are aware of with it but with a bike this age and as with ANY antique we must sell this bike AS IS with no warranty.
