Up for auction is a 1965 Volkswagen Micro Bus. She is rough but is all complete. All the light fixtures, mirror fixtures, door handles, steering wheel, gauges, gearshift, engine and transaxle. Everything down to the original hubcaps. The rear is basically empty. It had camper type shelves and cabinets but they have been removed. This is the model that has the low gear ratio transaxle that makes great dune buggies or sand dragsters. The reason she was parked because it was running so well we were cruising over 70 mph. The low gear transaxles would only run 55-60. We blew the engine. I have no idea what actually happened. It started knocking for a ways and lost power and seized up, probably spun a bearing. It has been sitting for over 20 years. I sold the place where it was sitting. I had it drug out and have nowhere to store it. It has to go. Expect deposit at close of bid and pickup within 7 days.
