This is a 1957 MGA raodster (British like MG but an A model) with a Ford drivetrane. Original firewall was moved back 11" to fit the engine. The motor is a 1972 Ford Mustang 302 V8 with a C4 automatic transmission with a shift kit and 9" narrowed rear end. Coilover shocks on rear and and original oil dampner front suspention. Front disc brakes are Wildwood sprint car brakes. Drum are rear. Car is very light and stops well. Very quick as well as you may imagine. Car is about 1800 pounds I am told. They call this the poor mans cobra. Paint is great and color is Dodge Viper red. Motor has a mild cam with a custom built autolight carb and custom built Griffin aluminum race radiator. Motor rear end and trans are all fully rebuilt with only 3500 miles on car since built. Has cobra side pipes and hood scoop. Has no top or cover. A fair weather driver. Interior is Miami leather like Vinyl. Has 5 point harnesses for safety. Roll bar is 3" heavy gauge pipe. ROCK SOLID. Car runs great. Runs down highway smooth and dead straight. Rack & pinion steering. Box frame. Aluminum doors hood and trunck lid. All steel otherwise. Lots of custom body work and modification. You will most likeley never see another like it.
