Super nice vintage sl 450.What a very refreshing color combo!The exterior paint is beautiful,. very shiny with no crazing or cracking.There is no rust or accident history.The body fits extremely well.The engine compartment is clean and appears well serviced!The factory hood insulator pad is still there ,and,in great shape.The internal joints and jambs are very nice also.The luscious palomino carpet and tan door panels are excellent throughout. The original seats are superb,and shows very ,very well.Naturally there are 2 tops.The convertible canvas is about 1 yr old, and,still with totally clear 3 plastic windows.There are no holes there,or anywhere,,on the top.The factory hard roof is ,of course included and will be on the car prior to shipment.The aluminum and stainless steel trim is in excellent shape.The original dash is super nice.It is the factory dashboard,and not a form fitted cover.It has newer radiator,and the car runs out smoothly,..and the engine is quiet,with no leaking or tailpipe smoke. It runs down the freeway or autobahn easily over 70 miles per hour.All power equipment works well,the steering,the automatic windows,etc.Recent twin timing chain upgrade.The transmission shifts fine,and no issues when cold.Goes forward and reverses tightly.Plenty of power,naturally,not economical for fuel usage,but you probably will not be using it for a daily driver,although you could,yes!If you should be looking for a rare,and pretty color combination ,whether here in USA,or over the ocean,this is the real deal.Super nice tires and beautiful Mercedes 14" rally aluminum factory issued wheels complete that original look most people crave.So,if you are looking for a southern California car with great body and no rust,then this might be the one for you.
