1968 FORD MUSTANG SHELBY GT500E COBRA RESTOMOD TRIBUTE 289 V8 AUTOMATIC Listed we have a very nice vintage 1968 Ford Mustang Shelby GT500E Cobra tribute. Clean and clear title in hand. Recently received restoration work, good running/driving condition lots of new parts!!! Body is straight with no rust and minimal body filler. Color Jet Black with Hertz Gold Lemans stripes. Paint is brand new 1 week old base coat clear cut and polished to a high shine. Many new exterior parts and add ons: New 17x8 American Racing Torque Thrust 2 wheels and brand new Lionheart tires (Goodyear stencils). New Bedford grain vinyl top, front and rear bumpers, billet Cobra gas cap, billet grille, exterior trim, emblems, and lettering. Exterior lighting is completely functional (headlights, turn signals, backup lamps). The engine is a strong running 289 cubic inch V8 runs great! Ford Racing Cobra air cleaner, aluminum finned valve covers, new Napa starter, new water pump, Pertronix ignition, new spark plugs, wires, cap and rotor. Engine is turn key, runs good and does not overheat. Exhaust is full length manifolds running into 2 inch piping and Flowmaster 40 series mufflers with turn downs dumped at rear axle. Car has a very nice deep rumble. Transmission is a C4 three speed automatic and shifts nicely with no issues. The interior has been redone with factory style seat upholstery, new woodgrain steering wheel, new door panels, new arm rests, new dash pad, new carpet, new kick panels, new headliner, new floor mats, new rear shelf tray with seat divider. This Mustang has a tape deck which is no currently hooked up. Interior gauges and lighting is in working condition. ​Brakes are drum front and rear. Brake shoes are in good shape and work great with ample stopping power. Suspension is all stock with coil springs up front and leaf springs in the rear. Front and rear shocks are in good shape, adjustable air shocks in the rear. Rear axle has been topped off with 80w90.
