I want people to know exactly what this car is so here we go. I'm an ex dealer and this was the last car in my inventory when I closed back in 07. It has basically been sitting in my driveway since 2008, and the last time it was driven was about 4 years ago. The car was pretty cherry but after sitting in the sun and not being started for so many years it needs some work. This what I believe can be called a pretty rare Camaro. You should be able to confirm the following: In 96 there were only 264 SS convertibles produced. 60 were Artic White, and 33 were Arctic White with an automatic. The listed miles of 66,776 are actual and the car is clean title. Before I parked it the car ran great. The check engine light came on intermittently which based on my extensive experience with these cars indicated the Optispark and plugs needed to be replaced but I never got around to doing so. When I recently got around to playing with the car again it would turn over strong but not fire. I, with confirmation from a local repair shop, figured out the fuel pump is shot. At this point I do not care to put anymore time & money into the vehicle. The car has all the original SS badging. Other than the radio and plastic back window the car is in all original condition as in unmodified. Overall the paint is in nice condition except the clear coat on the hood and rear spoiler is peeling. The front bumper cover nose tip has some minor spider webbing - typical on these. The leather seats are ok. The leather is a little stiff with typical wear on the drivers side backrest outer panel, and the rear seats have some stitching separating on top of the backrest - sun exposure. The plastic dash cap is cracked - another typical thing. The tires only had about 500 miles on them when I parked the car but the sidewalls are now shot from the sun exposure. Again, the car need some work to get it back in top condition but it's solid foundation. That about covers it but feel free to ask any questions so you can bid with confidence.
