1929 Mercedes Benz Gazelle Convertible by Classic Motor Carriages This is a completed kit car sitting on a 1974 Ford Pinto chassis. Kit was produced by Classic Motor Carriges out of Miami Florida and built in 1987. Has a Ford straight 4 cylinder 2.3 liter motor paired with a Ford 4 speed manual transmission. True barn find purchased from an estate. Car starts, runs, stops and shifts as it should. I put in a new battery, control module, fuel pump, front and rear brakes, left rear wheel cylinder, new front tires and new front bumper on the car. Car has been sitting for over 20 years so it will need a tune up and some basic maintainance. Paint presents well but is brown color is faded in areas. Interior is in nice shape but drivers seat does have a couple of seam splits. Gas gauge and radio do not work, but I have not spent much time trying to fix them. Frame is in nice solid shape. Canvas top is in nice shape. I can shrink wrap the open areas for transport. Here is a chance to own a very cool classic car at a reasonable price!
