1999 BMW R 1100 GS... 6,270 original miles...This motorcycle is in excellent original condition... It was driven to church on Sundays by a " little old lady", and that's about it... It has never been off road... It was tipped over once in the church parking lot, when it was tapped by another little old lady who was backing out. OK, OK, OK. It wasn't owned by a "little old lady", it was owned by my uncle, but I think you get my meaning...The sole evidence of any physical mayhem due to that event, is a minor abrasion on the left crash bar, and a couple of light scuffs on the left hard bag, and a bit of transfer on the left mirror... Myself being a witness to the said event, I can testify that the whole episode transpired in slow motion... This all being said, this GS is in incredibly clean original condition...It has been started or ridden weekly though out it's lifetime, and has absolutely no problems... The battery and the tires were renewed two or three years ago, just as a matter of course, and this thing is ready to go and really be ridden... The luggage is clean and tight... Lenses clear and clean, and the upholstery on the seat is like new...The only after market add-ons, would be a Mustang tank cover in excellent condition, a trickle charger lead, and a pair of fork mounted Moto-Lights whose elements would also be like new since this vehicle has never been out after dark...Kinda crazy, but there it is, believe it or not... 6,270 original miles...
