Vehicle Detail

Listing this 1969 Oldsmobile 98 coupe sedan. Very nice survivor car. I have driven it locally and just had some brake work done to it. I purchased it on a estate sale. I sell a couple vehicles a year on ebay plus other farm related items. This car is a nice driver and could be a show car depending on what type of show you want to enter into. The car is equipped with what I believe to be a 455 V8 and automatic transmission. Runs great, and transmission shifts like it should. This car I know has been in Nebraska for quite some time according to how the title was issued in the past. In my opinion the motor has been repainted. It just doesn't look like the original paint to me. I have no history if it was overhauled or not. The rest of the car I believe is the original paint. There is a small touch up on the rear passenger fender you can see in the one photo. The odometer reads 12,584. I cant verify if these are original or 112,584. All I can say is if its 112,584 this car was garaged alot in its life and taken very well care of. The interior would show alot more wear and body would be rusted out with the salt on our roads. But I agree 12,584 seems hard to believe as well. All I can tell you is what I see and know from looking at it. I just recently had a new master cylinder and wheel cylinders replaced on all four wheels. While it was on the hoist I looked it over underneath. It is solid with no major rust on the frame or floorboards. This car was sent out of the factory with a rubber underlayment sprayed on it. It probably has helped it survive. Maybe someone out there knows how to read the vin number and find out more about it. Tires are like new, interior is original and nice shape overall. Seats and side panels need cleaning, some age spots from being in storage. Radio works, rear speaker does not. I need to try the cruise control, Im not sure on it. Dash is not cracked, floor mats are in the trunk. No rips in the seats or headliner. Vinyl top on the car is also good, does not show rust bubbles coming like some older cars do. Horn does not work, trunk button in glove box works fine. Air Conditioner compressor works but does need recharged. All the glass in the car is good and windows function properly. The car could use a good wash/wax. I live on the farm so it gets dusty. I have more photos and a video of the engine running. Please email me and I can call you or send photos. Also if you close enough and want to look or drive in person I can make that happen as well. Location is Wakefield Nebraska 68784. Please remember this is a older car and is being sold as is. No warranty's. Please view my feedback, I take pride in listing items for what they are. I would rather be more negative on something and have you get it and think wow this is better than I thought. Feel free to ask anything, I will store inside till a shipper can be lined up. Payment expected within five days, I do prefer a wire transfer or certified money order. No paypal because fees are to high. I can mail the title certified or usps with tracking priority. **If you have under ten feedback please get a hold of me before bidding so I know you are real and a serious bidder please. To many scams out there these days. Thank you. On May-10-18 at 20:21:09 PDT, seller added the following information: Update 5-10-18, Wanted to update the listing with some information from the last couple days. First of all thank you for the questions and feel free to keep them coming. I'm not a expert so happy to learn and see what i can do to help. I have photos of the undercarriage of the car for those that might want them. Also the following are a few defects I found. Rear view mirror is foggy, like the mirror material is letting loose from behind. You can still see through it but its noticeable. Passenger door panel has a crack in the plastic near the door handle. The windshield does have a rock chip repair on drivers side near the top of the windshield. I did locate some bubble under the paint near the rear window between the trunk and window. Paint is not cracked but you can see them in the right lighting. I tested the cruise control and it does work! There is wiring behind the rear license plate holder for a trailer. That is all for now, there is no reserve on this car. It has bids and will sell. Thanks again and let me know what I can do to help out.
