Vehicle Detail
2011 Prius project or parts car. Only 56k miles on it. This is a SALVAGE TITLE car due to a flood. Water made it up to the pedals inside. I gutted the interior and washed the sheet metal floor. I swapped in a full interior from a nice 2010 Prius that I parted out . I replaced any electrical connector that looked corroded. I eliminated some and hard wired the wires together. Every wiring joint is soldered and heat shrinked and done correctly. The car starts and drives however it’s getting a U0129 error code, which causes the “check Hybrid system” flag to appear. Also the EPS (power steering) does not work and the ABS and traction control lights are on as well as the brake light and no con with skid control ecu. All these codes are related, I’m sure there is a connector still not making connection somewhere. I am done messing with it and am moving on. Somebody else can finish it up or part it out. The body is in great shape, few nicks and scrapes but very straight and looks nice.has a sunroof and the rare solar panel roof option! All windows work, radio, wipers etc. it’s very hard to drive without the power steering so I’ve never left my driveway with it. You will need to trailer it home but it will drive on the trailer no problem. Again this is a SALVAGE TITLE vehicle from water damage. I’m selling it. CHEAP so somebody will have a nice parts or project car! buyer responsible for pickup, Full payment due within 3 days, should be picked up within a couple weeks. IF YOU HAVE LESS THAN 10 FEEDBACK YOU MUST CONTACT ME AND CONFIRM THAT YOU ARE REAL AND INTEND TO PURCHASE THE CAR **I will add more interior pics tomorrow** On May-12-18 at 06:16:58 PDT, seller added the following information: **** please READ the full description, its amazing how many people are not even reading it!! also do your own research about the salvage title process in your state, I do have the insurance estimate that deems it was a total loss in case your state requires it. As with many salvage titled cars they also marked this as an odo discrepancy, this is very common esp with flood cars as at the auction they rarely take the time to power them up and confirm miles on the odo. I have no doubt that the miles are correct, the last carfax also confirms it as well as the miles listed on the insurance paperwork.***
