Here's your chance to own one of the lowest mileage Jawa's around! This came a small dealership from Iowa were it sat for years. The 9 miles on the odometer appears to be correct! When you look at the photos of the front and rear tire treads as well as the full close-up photos of the a break adjustments. Also the wear and tear items like the foot pegs, handgrips and shifter rubber. The side covers on this bike show an excessive amount wear for such a low mileage motorcycle... I can only assume that at some point some customer needed nice covers and the dealership took them off this bike and replaced them with the used side covers. This bike turns over with great compression I have never tried to make it run I've only displayed it. This does come with the MSO or manufacturer's statement of origin. For those of you unfamiliar with this document it is the piece of paper the dealership gives when purchasing a new bike you so you can get a title. This has information pictured on the back of various dealerships are auction houses this bike went through so I'm not sure what it would take to get a title for this bike. Please look at the photos of the MSO before bidding if a title is a big deal for you. I also have two more of these Jawa's in white that I found in a different location. The winner of this auction will also have first chance to purchase the other two Jawa's if they are interested. Again this auction is only for the red and black Jawa. The white ones would be a separate deal. That being said... some parts on this bike that aren't that nice are nicer on the white Jawa's... such as the muffler on this bike has some service rust which I've never try to clean off because one of the white bikes has a nicer muffler. Also things like the front rim on one of the white bikes is nicer than the front rim on the red bike. My intention was to eventually switch parts around to make one superior bike. As for the two white bikes one is showing 22 miles but has a broken speedo glass...and I believe the other is showing 700 miles. I HAVE ENJOYED LOOKING AT THIS BUT I NEVER GOT AROUND TO WORKING ON IT. ( I AM TOO BIG TO RIDE IT SO I NEVER SAW THE POINT ). IT IS TIME TO MOVE IT TO SOMEONE WHO CAN GIVE IT THE ATTENTION IT DESERVES. HAS FLAWS AS SEEN IN THE PHOTOS. IT HAS RUST AND SCRATCHES TYPICAL OF A 40 PLUS YEAR OLD BIKE. LOOK CLOSELY...AND ASK QUESTIONS. I SEE KNOW REASON WHY THIS WOULDN'T RUN WITH SOME TYPICAL THINGS LIKE, GET SPARK GOING AGAIN, A CARB CLEAN , PLUG AND FRESH GAS.
