All-Wheel Drivin’... Just traded, here’s a good looking 325xi sedan with all-wheel drive that will get you there safely and comfortably whether rain or shine. The title reads Mileage Exceeds Mechanical Limits which is impossible on a digital speedometer and I have every reason to believe this is a clerical error and the miles are accurate. Mechanically the car runs strong with a quiet 2.5L 6-cylinder that has a new water pump and radiator hoses from the previous owner and isn’t showing any leaks underneath. The transmission shifts right on time, brakes feel good, suspension rides tight and tires are in good shape. The check engine light is on for the standard equipment P0171/174 System Lean codes which don’t affect how the car runs and the coolant level light stays on but it’s up to level and isn’t leaking. The interior is in good shape with only the driver’s seat showing some surface wear, carpets are clean, headliner is nice and dash looks good too. All the power options work including aftermarket stereo, A/C, heat, but the driver’s side front window makes noise but doesn’t go up and or down. There are no bad odors inside. The body looks good with the only major flaw being a dented passenger rear door and hood and otherwise, no signs of rust, very nice shiny gray paint, clear lights and only a handful of bumpers chips and dings that come with the age. We sell exclusively on eBay auction to other dealers and the general public and advertise them in their as-is state as we would sell to another used car dealer. We have since sold over 6000 cars in this fashion. We start our cars at an opening bid of $500 or $1000, accordingly, and sell every car with no reserve and list the cars for 5 days. At the end of the auction, the cars are sold whether they win or lose money but rest assured they are sold. We don’t clean them, we don’t repair them, and try to describe them to the best of our ability. We don’t pull the wheels to check the brakes but drive them to determine what we feel is wrong. If dash lights are on, we tell you and if they are not on and come on for you on your trip home, it is your responsibility as our cars are sold AS-IS. If you should encounter a major problem, we are here to help you and won’t leave you in the lurch but will not be responsible for minor cosmetic or mechanical defects that come with being an as-traded used car. It is the buyer’s responsibility to perform a pre-sale inspection or express any and all concerns prior to placing a bid and prior to winning the final binding auction. Wholesale & Prior to Re-Conditioning The cars you see on our eBay auctions are what we would call “raw trade-ins” from the new car dealers. These are cars that have not been cleaned, have not been run through shops, and have not been repaired in preparation for a sale. Buying a car in this Wholesale Capacity allows you to buy the car for less money and me to do less work. There will be assumed costs on minor defects and routine-maintenance items that come with being used. If you are receptive to buying a car in this fashion, the savings are yours. Because we sell our cars all over the world and in every state, inspections are not guaranteed in any state as each state differs in their requirements so it is virtually impossible for us to guarantee inspection. Options such as power windows, cruise control, air conditioning etc. are not guaranteed however we will do our best to mention any items that are not working. Administrative Fee We have sold over 5000 cars on eBay in the last six years and have never charged any fees. However, the cost of doing business recently has skyrocketed out of sight and we are forced at this time to ask for a nominal $75 fee on top of the price of the car sold and any motor vehicle fees. I truly apologize for this change in policy however the cost of doing business and the increasing number of no show bidders dictates this moderate administrative fee. Motor Vehicle & Issuing of Plates Within walking distance of our car lot, there is a Pennsylvania-state motor vehicle agent that will issue Pennsylvania license plates and out-of-state temporary 60 day plates. They will accommodate all our customers within their normal business hours which are 9-5PM on weekdays and on Saturdays from 9-12PM, same as our hours. You can of course bring your own license plates / temporary tags if your state allows. It is mandatory that if you need plates you bring with you your drivers license and your insurance card for your present car. Names, addresses and dates must be valid on both items. Without this contact your bid will be cancelled. Payment If you are a winning bidder, kindly contact me via email immediately at the end of the auction for verification. Our requirements are that the high bidder should pay an immediate deposit of $500 via PayPal upon completion of the auction and the car should be paid in full within 7 days via cashiers check, cash if in person or money order. The deposit can also be made over the phone via MasterCard or Visa; however, payment in full cannot be made with a credit card or PayPal. If payment of the car is not fulfilled within the specified time, the car will be offered for re-sale and feedback will be left accordingly. Let’s not waste each other’s time.
