This restoration was clearly an open checkbook build, and we have reciepts to prove it. The car was built in Washington State near Seattle, by a professional restoration shop for the owner to have as his personal car. The build was started in 2014 and finished in 2016. Since completed, less than 2,500 miles have been logged on the car. This build started with a rust free 1969 Camaro. The body was professionally completed in this special Light Metallic Green which is a new Lexus color, and an Art Morisson Chassis was fitted. The chassis was sourced locally since Art Morrison's headquarters is located in Washington state very close to the shop that did the build. Heights front clip ties the front suspension together, while a Triangulated 4-Bar Rear Frame Clip keeps the power planted in the rear with Coilovers on all 4 corners. Thanks to the Mini-Tub, this Camaro is able to fit a whopping 335 wide tire out back! Stopping power is provided by 4-Wheel Wilwood Disc Brakes with Drilled and Slotted Rotors. Power Steering, Power Brakes, and A/C add to the driving experience. Under the hood sits a GM Big Block 427ci High Performance "512" V8 gone through by a Speed Shop in Auburn, WA with a mild COMP cam and added FAST electronic fuel injection and an MSD ignition. Power is sent through a Tremec TKO-600 5-Speed Manual Transmission and Strange S/S Series 31 Spline Rear Axle with TrueTrac 3.73 Gear Posi. Bottom line, this car makes power, and puts it down to the ground! The interior has been finished tastefully with a correct Camaro look and upgraded Houndstooth upholstery.
