This week I am offering several rare pcs. from my private collection...Please take a look at my other listings! Extremely rare mid engine vintage VW Trike. I've only seen one other and it was built by the same person. If anyone has more info on these, please let me know! Trike is currently not running and I do not know the status of the engine. Code is HO 0071, which is 1500cc 1965 or '66. It comes w/ a spare '71 or '72 engine, code AE 689748. According to the previous owner it's in good running cond. Several new parts are included from a Baja shop in Corona, Ca. A 9 gal. aluminum tank, foot brake w/ reservoir, shifter, tach, gas pedal and small shock/plunger. Retail for the new parts alone is probably over 500.00. Nice 70's parts are the girder, spool hub wheel, Z bars and the cool pinstriped frame. I took the fenders off, but they go w/ the trike also. I intended on making this a drag trike, but now someone else can have a hand at it. I'm not a VW expert. Shown is a custom trike I recently finished, to give you an idea of what I was shooting for!
