You are bidding on a 1986 K100 BMW Motorcycle. It is setup as a cafe racer with all the fairings and other nonsense removed. This bike is quick, reliable, and gets lots of attention. I am selling it because I have carpal tunnel and riding causes my hands to go numb. I had surgery 2 years ago and hoped that it would be fixed well enough for me to ride. While it is better, I still have issues that preclude me from riding. It's time for someone else to love and enjoy this bike. NOTE: This bike has a clear Texas Title with the Salvage brand on it. What does this mean? Someone filed an insurance claim on their expensive BMW motorcycle and the insurance company bought it and resold it. The stock BMW had lots of plastic fairing and I suspect knocking it over would be enough to cause a "total loss" in the insurance universe. There is evidence that someone laid down the bike on the right side. That said, the previous owner took really good care of it. Lots of new suspension parts when I bought it. I've had zero issues other than a battery and fuel pump which I just replaced. I've done a few upgrades for safety reasons.
