1974 Honda XL 175 XL175 Enduro Motorcycle On Road/Off Road Model (Make Sure to See YouTube link and watch the video of the bike running and driving) Up for sale is this 1974 Honda XL 175. Was recently pulled out of dry storage. Starts right up and idles. Does not Smoke. In running/driving condition. Shifts through all gears smooth. Brand new front tire with no miles on it. Brand new battery. Needs front brake pads. Looks like someone went down on the left side at one point in its life. handlebars slightly bent. light surface rust throughout the bike. Rims and spokes have some surface rust. Side covers aren't cracked or damaged. Paint has some scratches and marks. Dent in left side of tank as shown in photos. Front left blinker bracket seems to be welded back on. tank is not rotted out inside. Does not leak oil. The header is stock but I believe the muffler is a period correct aftermarket ad-on with the correct mounting brackets. Speedometer showing 2,040 miles and both the speedometer and tachometer work. Seems to have stock cables throughout the bike so might want to replace those. The headlight works but the blinkers currently do not. They need to be played with as I don't have the knowledge to work on them, all the stock wiring is intact and no mice bites in the wires, might just need to clean terminals. I have been driving it around town As Is and its really a blast to drive. No wobbles while driving down the road, feels tight. These little 175's really do have great torque! Its not a beauty queen but a perfect candidate for a nice restoration. I bought this vintage bike "As Is" and I will be selling As Is as well. CT is non-title State, I purchased the bike with just a Q-1 Bill of Sale so I will be selling the bike with CT's Bill of Sale form. No title certificate in hand I never registered the motorbike but if I was going to I would use the Q-1 Bill of sale form that I will be providing. Key included. AS FOR THE PHOTOS THEY WERE TAKEN A WEEK AGO, THE QUALITY OF MY CAMERA ISNT THE BEST AND I CANT GET THEM TO BE ANY CLEARER THEN THEY ARE, THAT BEING SAID, IT LOOKS ALITTLE BIT CLEANER IN THE PHOTOS, YOU CANT SEE ALL THE LIGHT RUST IN PHOTOS, LIKE I SAID IN THE AD IS HAS RUST THROUGHOUT THE BIKE, MOSTLY AROUND SOME OF THE BLINKERS AND ON THE REAR RIM/SPOKES. NOT ANYTHING REALLY BAD. THIS VINTAGE HONDA IS NOT A BEAUTY QUEEN OR SHOW BIKE AS SHE SITS NOW, BUT YOU CAN DRIVE IT AND SHOW IT AS IS IF YOU WANTED TO.
