Vehicle Detail
1973 International Harvester 1210 four wheel drive pickup, just came off the farm. Runs and drives good, four wheel drive works. Motor is I believe the 345 V8. Tires are weathered and not the best but do hold air. I added a lot of photos of the truck. The sun was in a bad spot so tried taking some close ups to show the body well. Over all the truck is solid! Being used on the farm some things need attention. It is defiantly worth driving it as is or restoring it. Its not easy in my area at least to find one of these older four wheel drive pickups still usable. Please look at all the photos of it and ask questions or if your close enough and want to see it in person I can work that out as well. Here are things I noticed walking around it. (Hood Latch is broke, has a wire to pull to open. Hood has a couple dings in the corners as you can see in the photos. Inside the hood spring area is not rusted out like some. Passenger side is starting. Drivers side door panel is off but is there to reinstall. Door handle is farmer made, don't have the original chrome one. Dash is cracked. Seat cover is bad but original seat don't look to bad under it. Floors are good, I crawled under the drivers side and don't see any rust holes! Outside cab corners are good, no rust through. Homemade steps on both sides of the truck. Tailgate is off and has some rust, floor of truck has rust near the back edge. Passenger rear fender has a dent on top of the rail. Passenger rear fender has a crack in the steel above the wheel. All glass is good, except a rock chip in the windshield. Glove box door I cant get to stay shut. Needs new wipers). It is a good truck I just want to point things out for those that are bidding from further away. Take a look at my feedback. I want my customers to be happy and so I point things out like this. Feel free to email me and I can call you and answer questions or can reply through email as well. I can store for awhile if necessary. Also can assist with loading. Truck is located near Wakefield Nebraska 68784 On Dec-09-16 at 18:46:37 PST, seller added the following information: 12-9-16 Well Ive had a lot of questions on the four wheel drive of this pickup. I have to admit I am a IH guy but not familiar with these years of trucks. I did some looking on the internet and couldn't find much either. I'm sure some of you will know more about this truck. Under the dash near the drivers side is a knob you pull out. Above it says four wheel, the emblems on the truck say all wheel drive. The front hubs are the type you turn to engage. It seems to work for me. Now granted like I said I don't know a lot about this style of truck. I'm into the older IH's. ( I actually have a 57 golden jubliee 4x4 pickup) Maybe this was a short lived option for this style of truck. I did have a helpful person email me about where the build sheet is located on this truck. I found it and added two photos of it. It was sold in South Dakota, and that's where I got it. I can give the winning bidder the last owners name if they like to get the past history of the truck. I'm also willing to email my phone number if you would like me to walk around and answer some questions. I also can email or send by phone some more pictures if you like. I'm to the limit here of adding them. Thank you for looking and keep the questions coming, be good to see someone get it and fix it up a bit.
