Garage find 1952 MGTD Roadster with rare removeable fiberglass hardtop. Stored in garages and not driven for over 30 years -- the past 22 years here in New Mexico. Very solid rust-free car from our dry desert climate. Engine runs with good oil pressure -- with fuel supplied from a can. Needs complete brake rebuild and gas tank boiled out. Has extra louvers on the upper portion of both hood panels and a Moto-Lisa steering wheel -- otherwise original equipment. Only significant body damage is a dent on the front of the left rear fender -- shown in photo above. The vehicle was titled listing the engine number as the VIN -- common error for vehicles of this vintage here in New Mexico. Current owner spent months getting the correct VIN number recorded on the title. Car can be viewed here in Albuquerque at Taos Garage -- business that has specialized in MG repair and restoration for over 3 decades. This is an excellant candidate for restoration.
