NO RESERVE your bid is a winner. Bid only if you can pay 1940 FORD COUPE 2 Door Original Condition Rare Barn Find Great Solid Cond Where are you finding one of these unmolested and original. The body appears to have one repaint and is in excellent condition for its age. The pictures show close ups of any defects or rust and they are minimal. Solid body top to bottom and the frame is great as well. The flathead v8 engine runs EXCELLENT and strong. The previous owner said it was rebuilt in the late 70's and the car was never driven. I drove the car in my driveway (1/8 mile)and the trans and clutch work as they should.Car has a new gas tank and new starter. The brakes do not work but the emergency brake does. Brake lines look to have been redone at one time. Has not been on the road for many years so it is not being sold as a road worthy vehicle. Last inspection was 1972.
