Second time listing. Previous buyer never paid or responded. Welcome to my listing! http://therobbcollections.blogspot.com/ The current page is about THIS car and has links to older posts about things I've done to the car and features MANY detailed photographs. This car is my BABY and it breaks my heart to sell her, but I do not have the facilities to remove and replace or rebuild the engine. ITEM INFORMATION: This car has mysteriously developed a knock deep in the engine. Experience tells me it may be a connecting rod bearing failure. I bought this car six years ago with 84,000 miles on it. That equals 4,200 miles a year! It has ALL the original owner's documents in the glove box and I tracked him down and interviewed him. He always kept the car in the garage covered up. He took great care of it and it showed as you will see in the very first post in my blog. (Links are in the current blog page to all the pages I did about her.) I always kept the car covered when not in use. It was my daily driver for most of the time I've owned her. I bought from Tirerack.com a set of Sport Tuning 15" wheels and General Exclaim High Performance all season tires. I was playing with a Honda S2000 a couple of years ago on the D.C. beltway and the left rear tire picked up a piece of debris and the tire was ruined. Tirerack no longer carried those tires so I replaced them with a set of Kuhmo High Performance all season tires. INCLUDED in the sale are the three remaining General tires. I have done the following to the car in no particular order: Correct cold-air intake manifold and cone filter with fabricated mounting brackets. New cat-back exhaust with Magnaflow muffler and chrome tip. New front brake calipers, new Brembo rotors, ceramic brake pads, all four wheels, new braided steel brake hoses. I created a tool similar to the factory one to press the rotors off the front hubs. All-aluminum radiator. Works fantastically. Infinity speakers (all four) and a JVC HD radio/CD player. * Nice red/black seat covers, properly installed. The seats are fine as you can see in the blog, just too much gray. An aftermarket console which I permanently attached. Replaced the Hella fog lights with Hella FF Mini Driving lights. Mount is exactly the same. I removed the cam cover and painted it red, then sanded off the surface around the numbers/letters. When I bought it, I had the timing belt, water pump and thermostat replaced. I've always used synthetic oil and premium oil filters. Replaced ALL the cooling hoses (there are a LOT of them). I have the impossible to find lower radiator hose (none available when I did the rest) but will sell it separately. I also have the factory shop manual and wiring harness as well as parts lists. All these will be sold separately as well. Oh, I have a replacement AIRBAG as well. That WILL go with the car. If you read my blogs you will see that it had minor front end damage. So the front bumper and left headlight door are original red, not matching the rest of the car. The A/C has a leak from the "O" rings at the compressor, so no A/C. The cruise control stopped working. I suspect the switch contacts need to be cleaned. Everything else works fine. Car cover ALSO goes with the car. *I reserve the right to remove and keep the rear speakers and JVC radio. I think I have another radio to install. The engine runs beautifully, never has burned oil. Quiet at idle, but the knock is there if revved up. I have NOT driven it since the sound mysteriously appeared. Such a shame and it breaks my heart. $250.00 non-refundable down payment via PayPal due when sold. The rest of the funds due in CASH when you get the car, OR you may pay the entire price with Buy-It-Now.
