Up for a no reserve auction is a Jaguar XKE E-Type 2+2 series 3 V12 automatic coupe. The car is complete, original and in good condition, but currently it is not running. The cylinder heads were removed for head gasket replacement but the project was never finished. The car body is straight and rust free: doors, sills, frame floors, trunk are all original and rust free. There is a small spot only on the rear passenger wheel arch - see photo. Paint is old and worn.The hood was partially stripped of paint, but it was not finished. Now it needs repairs and complete repaint. Brightwork for the hood is all there and in very good condition. The engine head removed, all the parts are labelled and stored properly. Some new parts for the rebuild are included in the sale. Interior is complete and in good condition. All the seats are original and have no rips. Gauges, switches are all complete. Original radio is included. Trim and brightwork is all present. Carpets are original and in good condition. Suspension, shocks, bushes, brakes e-brake is all complete. Wheels are all original, rust free and holding air properly. The spare wheel was never used.
