SO HEAR IT IS, I AM GOING TO ATTEMPT TO COVER EVERYTHING ON THIS BRONCO, PLEASE ASK ANY QUESTIONS YOU MAY HAVE, AND I WILL ANSWER THE BEST OF MY ABILITY. THIS IS A 1978 FORD BRONCO CUSTOM. A LOT HAS BEEN DONE TO THIS TRUCK, BUT KEEP IN MIND, ITS BEEN OVER A PERIOD OF ABOUT 3-4 YEARS, BUT THIS TRUCK IS VERY RARELY DRIVEN, AND AS YOU CAN SEE, REALLY NICE. I ALSO HAVE 3 OF THESE THAT I HAVE BEEN RESTORING, SO SOME THINGS MAY RUN TOGETHER IN MY MIND ON WHAT HAS BEEN DONE TO WHAT. I DO PREFER THAT IF YOU ARE CAPABLE TO COME SEE THE TRUCK FOR YOURSELF, AS I DON'T INTEND, OR WANT TO DISAPPOINT THE POTENTIAL BUYER. I HAVE SEEN PEOPLE OVERBID ITEMS TO BE DISAPPOINTED. THIS IS A GOOD SOLID HONEST 6500-7000 DOLLAR TRUCK. I CAN'T IMAGINE A PERSON LOOSING MONEY AT THAT PRICE. I PROBABLY HAVE ABOUT 12K IN IT. THERE IS STILL WORK TO DO IF YOU WANTED A SHOW QUALITY TRUCK. THERE IS NOT MUCH TO DO FOR A DAILY DRIVER, AND ALL AROUND FUN RIDE. I HAVE SPENT THE LAST WEEK TRYING TO FINE TUNING EVERYTHING. THIS TRUCK RUNS VERY NICE, BUT SHE DOES POP THROUGH THE CARBURETOR WHEN YOU SHOWER DOWN ON HER. I AM NO EDLEBROCK GUY, I DONT KNOW HOW TO ADJUST OUT THE JETTING OR ACCELERATOR PUMP. IF YOU CAN MANAGE THIS PROJECT, YOU WILL CORRECT THE POPPING. ENGINE WORK: VALVE COVER GASKETS, OIL PAN GASKET, TRANSMISSION PAN GASKET (THE SEAL AROUND THE SHIFTER IS LEAKING NOW), BRAKE BOOSTER, MASTER CYLINDER, BELTS, POWER STEERING PUMP. THESE ITEMS WERE DONE WHEN I PURCHASED THE TRUCK. CARBURETOR, AIR FILTER, HEATER HOSES, ELECTRONIC CONTROL MODULE, COMPLETE TUNE UP. THESE ITEMS WERE DONE THIS YEAR. THIS ENGINE HAS HEADERS ON IT, AND THE FLANGE OF THE HEADERS DO NOT SEAL WELL AROUND THE EXHAUST PIPE. IF I KEPT THE TRUCK, I WOULD EITHER HAVE THE EXHAUST COMPLETELY REDONE, OR WELD THE FLANGES. I DON'T WANT TO WELD THE FLANGES NOW, SO THE BUYER CAN MAKE THEIR OWN DECISION ON HOW TO FIX THE PROBLEM. COSMETIC WORK: THE OWNER BEFORE ME INSTALLED PRETTY MUCH ALL NEW RUBBER AND GASKETS RELATING TO DOOR SEALS AND WINDOW SEALS. THE PASSENGER SIDE DOOR SEAL HAS FALLEN OFF, BUT I HAVE A NEW DOOR SEAL TO BE INSTALLED. HE ALSO DYNOMATED THE WHOLE INSIDE, INSTALLED NEW JEWT, AND CARPET, AND A HEAD LINER. THE CENTER WOOD CONSOLE IS HOMEMADE, AND DOUBLES AS A SUB WOLFER BOX, THE STEREO IS VERY NICE SOUNDING. ALSO INSTALLED WERE LED BACKLIT GAUGE PANEL, AND LED INTERIOR LIGHTS. THE FRONT SEAT BELTS ARE NEW AS WELL. KEEP IN MIND THESE ITEMS ARE ALL ABOUT 4 YEARS OLD, SO ITS NOT RECENTLY INSTALLED NEW, BUT ITS STILL NICE, THE SEALS ARE STILL GOOD. THIS TRUCK IS FOR THE MOST PART IS BARN AND GARAGE KEPT. THE FRAME OF THIS TRUCK IS REALLY GREASY AND OILY, AS WHEN I PURCHASED IT, I THINK ANYTHING THAT HAD OIL PRETTY WELL LEAKED. I HAVE RAISED IT ON A LIFT A FEW TIMES TO DEGREASE AND CLEAN IT, BUT IT IS TOUGH BAKED ON STUFF. THE GOOD NEW IS, ALL THE OIL HAS PRESERVED EVERYTHING, AND AS IT CLEANS UP, THE STEEL IS IN GREAT SHAPE. THE OIL AND ALSO AGE, HAS THE BODY BUSHINGS, AND OTHER BUSHINGS BREAKING DOWN. I WAS IN THE PROCESS OF PURCHASING ALL NEW BUSHINGS TO DO A FRAME OFF. I WILL INCLUDE A NEW BODY BUSHING KIT, BUT I HAVE YET TO PURCHASE THE OTHER BUSHINGS. IF I REMEMBER RIGHT, I HAVE DONE ALL NEW BRAKES, BUT DON'T HOLD ME TO THAT PART, AS I OWN A LOT OF VEHICLES, AND IT SEEMS I DO BRAKES ABOUT ONCE A MONTH. EVERYTHING WORKS TODAY, LIGHTS, GAUGES (FUEL GAUGE IS INTERMITTENT), SIGNALS, BACK GLASS GOES DOWN GOOD, NEEDS LOVE TO GET IT UP, 4 WHEEL DRIVE, TRANSMISSION SHIFTS SMOOTH. I SAY WORKS TODAY, BECAUSE SHE'S AN OLD TRUCK, TOMORROW, SOMETHING MAY NOT WORK. THE TIRES ARE OLD, AND HAVE SOME CRACKING, BUT THE TREAD IS IN GREAT SHAPE. I MENTION THIS BECAUSE I KNOW TIRES, AND I KNOW OLD TIRES WILL FALL APART. I WOULD RECOMMEND NEW TIRES IF YOU INTEND TO PUT HER ON THE HIGHWAY. I LIVE IN THE COUNTRY, AND ON A LARGE PIECE OF LAND. WE PRETTY MUCH WOULD DRIVE HER AROUND THE LAND, AND TO THE NEIGHBORS, AND JUST AROUND THE NEIGHBORHOOD. I HAVE A NEW UNDERDASH A/C SYSTEM THAT I WILL INCLUDE, AND A FACTORY COMPRESSOR THAT IS USED. I MAKE NO GUARANTEES ON THE COMPRESSOR WORKING, BUT IT DOES SPIN NICE, AND SEEMS TO BUILD PRESSURE. I HAD TO ADD A MILAGE TO THE LISTING, SO I PUT THE MILAGE IN AS THE ODOMETER READING. I TRUELY DONT KNOW IF ITS BEEN ROLLED.
