1969 Pontiac Le Mans convertible project car. perfect car to build a GTO clone out of! the car needs to be restored or it could be used for parts. it has a rebuilt 1968 400cu engine in it. bored .030 over, TRW forged flat top pistons, moly rings, 10-1 comp ratio. Ultradyne 282H cam, Zoom double roller timing chain, Edelbrock performer RPM intake, Holley 750cfm carb, Mallory distributor, MSD coil, M/T valve covers, trans was also rebuilt with mild converter. (all specs are what i was told from the previous owners memory, no documentation on it. The engine has not run in a few years but is not stuck and I was told it was properly lubed when it was parked so it should be fine with fresh gas and a carb rebuild. the rear end is a 10 bolt open with 3.23 gears. The body needs work all around, floors have some holes starting and look to also have been patched. the trunk is mostly solid but the turnk lid is rotted on the underside. look at the pics closely and you can see the worst of it. you could just clean it up and leave it the way it is if you wanted a rat rod! despite the crusty body the frame looks amazingly fine, i dont see any rot, just some surface rust on it. the interior is in need of a major cleaning and rehab. It has factory buckets and factory console (was told orig to the car) all the cars convertible specific parts look to be in good shape, top is junk but frame looks ok, rear glass is good, front window trim is in excellent shape. drum brakes all around, tires are junk but hold air except for one of them. take a good look, ask questions, what you see is what you get. great chance to pick up a cheap convertible for the summer! the car is NOT RUNNING!! it is way to cold out and i am not making any attempts to get it running either! this is a project car! it must be paid for in full within 3 days and picked up within a few weeks, IF YOU HAVE LESS THAN 5 FEEDBACK RATINGS AND FAIL TO CONTACT ME ,OR DON'T RESPOND TO ME, YOUR BID WILL BE CANCELLED.
