It is highly recommended that prospective bidders make an on-site visit to inspect the vehicle and best determine the condition of the equipment prior to bidding. PICK-UP: Once the item(s) has been paid for, it can be picked up by the awarded bidder at the City of Dearborn Central Garage, 2650 Greenfield, Dearborn, Monday through Friday during normal business hours. The awarded bidder must bring the paid receipt to the Central Garage when picking up any item(s). The City reserves the right to request identification from the person picking up the item(s). All items will be removed at the risk and expense of the purchaser. The purchaser agrees to provide all labor, materials, and equipment necessary for the removal of all purchased item(s) from the building without assistance from City staff. The purchaser is also responsible for restoring the premises to a satisfactory condition, if necessary. The City of Dearborn retains the sole right to judge what is considered to be satisfactory condition of the premises. If the Purchaser shall cause the City of Dearborn to incur ANY expense in restoring the premises to a satisfactory condition in the event of the Purchaser’s default on this obligation, the purchaser will be held solely responsible and liable for these expenses.
