PLEASE DO NOT BID UNLESS YOU INTEND TO FOLLOW THROUGH ON THE PURCHASE...1968 was the first year of the 2nd generation Corvette. This car runs and sounds great. You can drive this car any where with confidence and have a blast while doing it. Very strong running NOM Chevy 350 CID motor paired with the original Muncie 4 speed manual transmission that will get rubber in 3 gears. Power steering and power brakes. It was an A/C car originally. The condenser and hook ups are all still there but the compressor is not. All gauges work except the clock. The wiper door works great! The hide-a-way headlights work great! Even some of the fiber optic lights work. AM/FM radio works! The car has had a re-paint at some point (originally a yellow car). The paint still presents well as a driver but it does have crackling and fading in some areas (see picture). Convertible top is in nice shape. The interior is all original (carpet is newer) and also presents well. The seats do have some seam splits but hear again are fine as is for a driver. Dash is clean. The undercarriage (floors, frame ETC) are solid with surface rust only! Chrome and Chevy rally wheels are all in nice shape and pit free. Hooker headers with side pipes make this car look and sound awesome. B.F. Goodrich T/A Radials have about 70% tread left. This car is a head turner wherever you drive it.
