For your consideration, a nice unrestored CJ-2a. It's a rare column shift model with the side body tool indents. The previous owner told me it was used as a mobile welder unit. It still has a four belt pulley pto between the seats, welder is gone. Governor control lever is still on the dash, but governor is missing.Overall condition is very nice for a jeep of this year. Would make a very nice restoration project, not much rust at all on this jeep. Has excellent condition data tags, and underhood tags too. Front frame gussets and original bumper are intact and great shape. Never used for plowing! Has rare half top hardware in place too. Runs well, brakes need a master cylinder. I do have the correct windshield for the jeep. Shown are the rusted areas, pretty much confined to the side step reinforcement channels. Pretty easy fix, with available repro hat channels. Rest of body does not show any indication of rust thru, or major repairs needed. This unrestored and rare column shift jeep would be an excellent restoration candidiate. The body condition is way better then most of the rust buckets out there.. You wont be dissapointed, the body is overall Solid..Does not need Major body panel replacement! Frame and running gear have not been abused... Finding an original GE welder unit to mount back in place of the passengers seat would add alot of uniqueness to this already rare willys..On Sep-20-15 at 07:37:53 PDT, seller added the following information: Upon closer inspection, found that the Passenger side floor has a metal plate welded over the original floor that extends into the toolbox all the way to the rear of the box.Not sure if floor repairs are due to the welder mounting being removed...
