I am selling the Tahoe I bought about a year and a half ago to haul my grand daughters around in.  They are getting busier with their own little lives and have not been out riding in it in quite a while.  While they love the truck, I am more the classic style myself, I do the 67 thru 72 Chevrolet trucks, just bought this because they needed something to cruise around in with Grandpa.  You ought to see the looks I get when I pull up and get out of this.  I am not what anyone expects to be driving it. With all of that being said, let's get down to it.  This is a 1996 Chevrolet Tahoe.  It is a two door, two wheel drive.  It has the 350 Vortec engine with a 4L60E transmission.  Full power, cold air, hot heat, power windows, cruise,, everything. The motor is a 350 Vortec.  The odometer shows 235,370 miles but the previous owner was adamant that the motor had been replaced a little over 50,000 miles ago.  I have no documentation, that is just what I was told.  It has an aftermarket cold air kit and a Hyper Tech Max Energy power programmer.  The cool thing about that is you can set the speedometer to compensate for the different tire sizes, it also makes the truck perform a whole lot better.  Engine has no leaks or rattles, is a good solid motor.  Does not run hot, even last year in June at the Street Machine Nationals in DuQuoin Illinois. The transmission is a 4L60E and it does sometimes kick out of overdrive.  Pulls fine in forward and reverse and will run down the highway at 70 + mph without missing a beat.  I would drive it anywhere. The chassis has had some money invested in it, everything was done right.  It has a complete Belltech suspension kit with a frame C notch.  Has a really cool stance. The interior is showing normal wear and tear, but everything works, even the cruise control.  it has power windows, tilt, power rear hatch, CD player with USB port, all glass is good with a  nice tint on all side windows.  The drivers seat shows the worst of the wear, imagine that...  Air blows cold, heat is hot. It has American wheels and they do need a good polishing.  Matching set of speed rated tires. I am sure I am forgetting some important things, do not hesitate to ask if I overlooked what you need to know.  I bought it to entertain my little girls, they are busy with other things now and I am wanting to buy myself a nice 67 thru 72 short bed after i sell this.  Clean Missouri title in my name.  Thanks.
