Vehicle Detail
Guys What we have here is one of the nicest 1977 Triumph Bonneville you will find. Imagine your self going for a ride on a bike that is nearly forty years old, there is just some great feeling you get when you ride a vintage Triumph. This is one to ride pull it out of the garage turn the key and give it a tiny little kick and it starts right up. Last week I was bragging about how well tuned it was so with a bit of practice I had my ten year old niece kick start the bike. You know these older bike can be a bit stubborn well this one is always ready to ride and stops on a dime. It always draws a crowd at every bike night and car show. I rebuilt the top end about 1000 miles ago. I take very good care of this bike and only drive it a few miles a week. I take it to hot rod night at the train station on Friday nights and to get coffee on Sunday mornings about 20 miles a week and I only ride Memorial day through labor day about 250 miles a year. This bike is not restored but it looks it as every 6 months I do and upgrade or improvement. I put on fresh paint and powder coat over the winter. Last year I converted to Mikunui carbs (they atomize some much better) Prior to that I put on new brakes but when I say new brakes I mean BRAKES! Lets start with stainless steel lines, new pads, new stainless steel master cylinders, new rotors that I hand drilled to lighten them up. I will talk about all the upgrades. Dunstall mufflers. New Chain with a PBI aluminum sprocket. I have new Dunlop K70 tires front and rear, when the wheels were off I also replaced the bearings in the axles. Outlaw aluminum motocross risers that are hard mounted is an upgrade to the steering. New clutch and throttle cables. Electronic ignition with a Harley 12 volt coil. You need to see it to really appreciate it. I have the original spedo and tach as well as the side covers front and rear fender. I will include it if you hit the asking price. I have an easy $8000 to $10000 invested in this bike I am asking much less
