Vehicle Detail

A very very nice 26 year old SUV! Painted 6 months ago, Not a show job but very nicely done. I welded in 6 metal patches prior to the paint job. Body is very straight, no signs of accidents. Bed liner used around the lower portion of the truck. New Powerwagon decals and tailgate decals. Lund lighted visor, Ramsey Winch Bumper with 8000lb winch. New Brake lines, rotors, pads and wheel cylinders. New throttle position sensor. Truck is 318 fuel injection. Starts perfectly every time. Truck has a rough country 4" lift, rides on almost new Falken Rocky Mountain AT tires 35x12.5x15. Tires have about 500 miles on them and they ride very quietly. This truck also has the differential skid plate and gas tank skid plate. The liftgate has newer lift supports. Full size spare in the trunk (BFG mud terrain). Rough country dual steering stabilizer. Truck is manual locks and windows, AM/FM radio. Truck has had all fluids changed regularly. Truck also has a new muffler, and tailpipe. I have a turn down on the exhaust just prior to the rear axel. 4WD works perfectly as well I have used this truck as a back up vehicle to my daily driver for about 8 years. It has always ran perfect with no issues. The truck does however need gears! With the lift kit and big tires it does not go very fast and is slow to pick up speed. This is common in lifted vehicles. Since I've owned the truck I have never taken it off road. In my travels I use this at a max speed of 55 mph. The steering is a bit sloppy, probably a worn out steering shaft bushing or possibly ball joints. It is after all 26 years old. In my travels I avoid Interstates where I know I can't keep pace. Just my personal preference. Around town the truck drives as expected. The interior is decent. There is one small peice of the vinyl piping torn/ missing on the drivers seat. Other than that the seats are good. The dash has a crack in it at the bottom right of the radio, doesn't effect anything. The headliner has been taken out. Carpet is also in good condition. The truck also comes with new rear window chrome strip (not installed) and new window fuzzies for the DS and PS doors (not installed). There is some light over spray from the paint job on the moulding around the truck. I will try to clean that up prior to the sale. Additionally we did not paint into the door jams or engine compartment so they remain two tone in color. Originally the truck had burgandy top and bottom paint with white in the middle...... This truck turns heads and gets plenty of thumbs up every where I go. I think this truck really only needs gears front and rear to be 100%. As it sits it could be used as a daily driver. Anyone wishing to come and inspect the truck prior to purchase I am available by appointment only. I am completely straight forward in my description, therefore if you are the winning bidder, I will need payment within 7 days. $500 deposit due at the close of auction. I am able to store the truck for a few weeks in order to accomodate pick up or delivery. This is not a show truck! It is a very very nice 26 year old SUV that I have done some recent work to. The only reason I'm selling is because my next house has less parking. She has been a great truck for me over the years and its time for someone else to enjoy her now. Thanks for looking and Good Luck! *****this truck also has had a new water pump and harmonic balancer installed within the last 1-2 years.... runs very well. UPDATE- Just want to be clear, there is nothing wrong with the current gears. They are the stock gears which are meant to be paired with a 31" tall tire. The stock gears just don't allow the truck to accelerate as quickly as a typical stock truck. To drive this truck at a high rate of speed would be reving the engine higher than I feel comfortable, which is why I drive it no faster than 55. Again just me taking it easy on the truck. For drivability purposes this truck should have a set of 4.56 gears installed, those gears would match up with the 35" tires. I did replace the gear oil when I put the chrome diff covers on.
