1974 Alfa Romeo GTV     This car underwent a complete ground-up restoration that was completed in 2008.  It has been driven only 1,200 miles since completion and kept in a climate-controlled showroom.  It won the people’s choice award at Viva Alfa Romeo in Celebration, Florida among numerous other awards.      This restoration was completed over the course of two years.  This car is and always has been 100% solid and rust free.  It was a life-long Southern California car prior to coming to South Florida in 2006.  The body was completely disassembled and stripped to bare metal prior to painting.  It was re-sprayed its original color with a two-stage base clear.  The paint alone cost close to 10k.  It is flawless show quality.      At that same time the engine, which is the original SPICA injected 2.0 litre, was completely rebuilt from top to bottom.  It has high-compression pistons, hot-street cams, powder-coated cam covers, and MSD electronic ignition.  It is otherwise stock specs.  It runs perfect.  It is mated to the original 5-speed manual gearbox which was also completely rebuilt and shifts up and down through all the gears effortlessly.  It has a custom built Stebro style Italian exhaust.  It sounds like a 12-cylinder Ferrari.      The interior was completey redone with all correct materials including seats, door-panels, carpet, and headliner.  The handle that adjusts the driver’s seat is missing its plastic cover.   All rubber trim and weather-stripping was also replaced.  All brakes, rear-end, and all other mechanicals are either new or rebuilt.      Everything in the car works perfect.  All lights, gauges, mechanicals, EVERTHING.  It does not have a radio.      This Alfa is a very rare car.  It had only 63,544 original miles prior to complete restoration.  It is show quality inside and out.  It has a clear Florida title.  For more information please call 954-422-2895.      The above referenced automobile is being sold as is with no warranties.  The above description is subjective, for our own identification purposes only, and should not be relied upon for correctness.  As with all used automobiles, we highly encourage inspections in person or via a third party prior to bidding.  All sales are final.  For more information please call 954-422-2895.
